Driven by this place for decades, finally stopped in and I have returned 3 times in 3 weeks. Freshly made chips and Salsa. Friendly service and yummy Mexican Food!

I liked the ambiance and the salsa that came with chips was really good. Didn't care for the steak fajitas. Too salty and the meat was not the cut I'd prefer.

Tried the Chicken and carne asada tacos. The guacamole was delicious. Both tacos were cooked perfectly.

This place holds a special place in my heart. I've been going ever since I was a toddler and I got a chance to eat here again after turning 18. It was bittersweet but great nonetheless. The food is always spot on and the service is nice. You have to stop in a each their enchiladas.

Outstanding place for tasty Mexican food. Visited about four, it was not full. Definitely worth a return trip. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.

My family and I have enjoyed our experience at montezuma restaurant for 27 years ! The food was delicious but the service was very off . We were told to sit anywhere we like and sat back towards the back and the restaurant wasn't busy at all they took our drink order and left it took a really long time to come back and take our order, we asked for water refills and they never came back. Took the order about 20 mins later and then never checked on us again.. service was bad.. our check was 65 dollars and we left a 10 dollar tip but I felt we shouldn't of left any at all , the restaurant was empty and the girl at the register even mentioned it was slow and she thinks it's due to the time change! LUCKY US ! (NOT) .... next time anyone mentions to go there again .. I'm going to have to pass!

I am sorry to say that yhe food is the worst that I've had. It's not fresh! Yhe taste is of food that has been sitting for days and heated in a microwave. The people working there are very nice but I wouldn't eat there again. Sorry😭

What a hidden gem, arrived in town, we were hungry and came here for some mexican food. The small quaint place is so friendly. When we came in they were getting ready to close within the hour and welcomed us with open arms. In fact they were going to close for the next seven days for the first time in there 37 years of business for a family reunion, and the treated us like they had all the time in the world for us. I had the shrimp fajita and it was amazing. The salsa and chips were great. Our server was super nice. We will be going back.

This place is one of Oxnard's finest, great food at a reasonable price. I would indeed recommend this place to friends and family.

The BEST BURRITOS IN TOWN!

This place is the real deal. I was in the area and was craving some good Mexican food, all the other spots looked a bit iffy, and this one prevailed among the others. I received good service along with delicious chips and salsa.. the salsa is a good way for me to determine the food. And I was not disappointed. Mexican Stamp of Approval!

For lunch we had burrito special and regular burrito . it is a big big burrito..

Really nice servers who will answer your questions about the food. They serve salsa and bottomless chips with your meal. I had the huevos rancheros (yummy) and cheese enchiladas. The cheese enchiladas here are my favorite!

Such good food and awesome service

I still love their food despite the increase of their prices. Their chips have doubled the prices compare a month ago. And please dont say our order will be ready in 20 mins when it took more than half an hour. Its not even a busy night. I ordered steak fajitas and there wasn't enough steak but lots of unions and vegies

Very busy, but good. Everyone is enjoying. They offer take out. Kitchen cook is on his A game. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
